Corrugated polyethylene pipes of Mirab Esfahan company, are types of
double-walled pipes that are produced according to the order with
yellow, orange and blue interior colors.
According to the requirements of national standard ISO9115-3, these
pipes are known as type B pipes (non-smooth outer surface). In terms
of technology and production process, the inner surface is smooth and
polished, and the outer wall is wavy and corrugated-shaped.
Due to the special shape of the external Profiles wall, these pipes have
a lighter weight and easily resist the pressure caused by the volume of
the soil, the impacts caused by the momentary traffic and the stresses
caused by the pressure.
The special shape and construction in the outer wall of these pipes causes a massive and uniform distribution of the external load, and as a result, it increases the cyclic resistance of this product. Due to the fact that fluid transfer flow inside the Corrugated pipe is gravitational (NON pressure), it cannot withstand the internal pressure and the maximum pressure that can be tolerated around 0.5 to 1 bar. The smoothness of the surface inside due to the reduction of friction between the fluid and the pipe which facilitates the transfer of fluid and also prevents sediment loading inside the pipe. The method of connecting these pipes is done using Coupling and they are completely sealed by elastomeric washers.
